Monetary unit of Republic of Belarus is the ruble which is equal to 100 kapyeykas. In coin monetary circulation do not participate.

The New currency has been injected by the National bank of Belarus in May, 1992. The first issue of the Belarus ruble has replaced the Soviet currency from account 1 Belarus ruble=10 Soviet rubles. Has passed about two years before the Belarus ruble became official currency of the country.

In 2000 the second issue of the Belarus rubles is manufactured, having replaced old money at a rate of 1 new ruble=1000 old rubles. One notes have been entered into the circulation. Coins of Belarusa are manufactured only memorable and collection.
