Bishkek - the capital of Republic of Kyrgyzstan, represents the city in the state and one of the largest in Asia. Geographically the city is possessed in the Chujsky valley in the north of the country near to frontier with Kazakhstan. In a city two rivers - Alamedin and Ara-Archa proceed.
Bishkek was formed at-sight strengths Pishkek constructed at the time of colonisation of the country by the khan for protection of merchant caravans of the Great Silk path from attacks. Shortly round strength the settlement with the name with the same name was formed. In 1926 1991 the city of Bishkek carried other name - Frunze in honour of the native of a city Michael Frunze.
Under the official version, the modern name of capital of Kyrgyzstan is literally transferred from the Kirghiz language as «a rod for koumiss mixing». By an administrative principle Bishkek is divided into 4 areas - Oktjabrsky, Sverdlovsk, Lenin and May Day.
The museums most well-known of which are a museum of M.V.Frunze, Historical and the Museum of the fine arts, and also various theatres are considered as the Basic places of interest of a city. Now Bishkek is the last Central Asian city in which (on a central square) V.I.Leninu's monument was saved.
the Flag cities is the rectangular panel of dark blue colour in which central part the big white circle personifying the sun places. Against the sun, in the centre of a cloth a little changed arms of Bishkek are seated: in a white rhombus the dark blue circle is seated, the white leopard with three dark blue spots is inside represented.
Official the coat of arms Bishkek represent an equipotential rhombus of dark blue (blue) colour in which the white circle is concluded. In the circle centre the stylised plotting of a snow leopard of dark blue colour with three white spots on a back is seated. The rhombus is possessed atop a dark blue serf tower with 4 teeth in which bottom white letters trace the name of the city which have been emphasised by a white line. Between letters and a rhombus the firm line represents 2 mountain tops. The white snow leopard is a traditional animal and symbolises itself boldness, endurance and nobleness. The leopard is considered the keeper of Bishkek. Three spots mean the Native land, parents and a native language, a rhombus and a circle - harmony and unity, a tower - force and safety. Dark blue colour personifies nobleness of thoughts and acts, white - cleanliness and honesty.
